I really enjoyed writing this one and it was the rare occasion (for me) where the chart pretty much wrote itself in a day. Fellow trombonist & composer Nick Mulder had put me on to the album Art Pepper plus Eleven (Thanks Nick!) I loved the lightness of writing and the elegant efficiency of the lines and countermelodies. I particularly enjoyed the track 'Walking Shoes' and that definitely influenced this chart and I hope it means it's a fun one for young players to get in to.
