This chart was written as a simple, lyrical ballad for Level 2 ensembles. It is built around a clear five-note motif, first introduced by either trombone or tenor saxophone. The bridge features the trumpet section in unison, providing contrast and focus, while improvised solos may be assigned to Alto Sax 1 or Trombone 1. Suggested solos are also included for developing improvisers.
